Posted: 03 Jun 2019 10:52 AM PDT Hi, we are Julian and Hannah and we would like to present two seperated, yet very tightly connected Discord communities. The first community is a community for developers to ask questions, get mentoring in the most popular languages, participate in group projects to gain more experience, request exercises and get feedback and the like. The discord link is: https://discord.gg/bhSwuDS The second community is a social discord perfect for hanging out, finding new friends, talking about shared interests, and gaming. Most of us are programmers, so it's like getting a beer or playing some videogames after work! The link: https://discord.gg/jvX4xDa Note that both communities are completely free, so I hope that it is not counted as excessive selfpromotion. [link] [comments] |

Survey: Building Technology Ethically Posted: 03 Jun 2019 02:36 PM PDT Hey all! I'm running an anonymous study on app development & tech ethics! If you have 60 seconds to spare, your candid feedback would be so massively appreciated. 🙏🏼 Short survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/18d5twj61AHDt8fmK1xXvIDlw4rOcsupqcpLkBaFZSlQ/edit#responses [link] [comments] |
Prediction Algorithm Advice(Probably Python)? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 04:57 PM PDT So I want to create this project to predict events in the next season of this show I'm watching. I'm unsure what tools to use AND how I can generalize it to use on other data sets besides entertainment? [link] [comments] |

We are making a new programming language called Bee! Posted: 03 Jun 2019 09:24 AM PDT Bee language is a technical, multi-paradigm programming language, designed for technical applications. All new languages are in general curly bracket like C. This language is from Algol like Ada and Oberon with influence from Ruby and Python. It is a statically typed language with type inference. Early adopters are invited to follow Bee community here: https://www.reddit.com/r/bee_lang/ [link] [comments] |
