I'm not sure if this will get allowed, I didn't fully understand the rules... but here's my brief little story and why I want to thank you all on r/ProgrammerHumor:

Just over 1 year ago now I started dating a Software Developer and this sub has helped me understand that when he stares off into space looking pensive that it's probably not anything to be concerned about!

I recently completed a First Aid course and asked him to help me practice. He would show symptoms and I would diagnose. The situation went like this (context he was pretending to be suffering from a stroke):

Me: "Sir, are you alright? Can I help you?"

Him: ........

Me: "Can you push my fingers together using your hands?"

Him: ........ (no arm movement)

Me: "Can you tell me your name? Can you speak to me please?"

Him: .........

Me: "Arrays start at 1"

Him: "NO THEY FUCKING DON'T!"

In the future, I'll ask the last question first!
