Need some advice on hosting a wordpress blog(on a tight budget here) as I don't understand most technical aspects yet.

I want to make a blog/site for movie reviews (which itself is just a side project for learning SEO) and I am pretty confused about hosting. So far the advice I've received are.

    1) Use AWS free tier and spin up an ec2.

    2) Get a shared cPanel hosting.

What's the difference between the two? I heard the first one is very difficult to learn and set up and isn't needed if it's just a blog?

It's not going to be a site with a lot of features, maybe a newsletter sign up and link to my social media at most.

Question about domain name and hosting

    Posted: 30 Nov 2021 08:50 PM PST

I want to make a resume webpage where I can show my projects, info, etc. I've never bought a domain name or a hosting service, so I wanted to ask you great people of Reddit what are the best sites for this?

    Thanks in advance.

How can an extension be able to override certain keyboard shortcuts from the browser and OS under pre-defined situations?

Is it posible to have variables in URL Links?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2021 10:21 PM PST

So there's this Webside where each day of december a new URL unlocks with new content, like this:

    ...url.../<DayOfDecember/

https:/.../de/kalender/7-9/2/ for the second day of decemberhttps:/.../de/kalender/7-9/3/ for the third day of decemberhttps:/.../de/kalender/7-9/4/ for the fourth day of december

Is there a way to save this link as something like this?:https:/.../de/kalender/-9/<date:dd>/

    EDIT, SOLUTION:
inspect Website you want to change
    go to body
    add:

<script> window.location.href = 'https://…/de/kalender/7-9/' + new Date().getDate() + '/';</script> and then save the website with "Permanent Inspect Element"- Add on with chrome

NPM package for generating projects out of templates?

    Posted: 30 Nov 2021 09:35 AM PST

I can't recall the name, but there is a package that allows you to do something like "forgottenname create-project" and then it prompts you to pick something like nodejs, angular, react, vue etc out of a list of templates.

    It's not yeoman.
