So I taught my daughter to program... Posted: 28 Jun 2019 05:57 AM PDT My 10 year old has started basic programming in school, so I thought it would be fun to do some at home stuff too since she likes it. We recently talked about logical operations and drew out truth tables and all that, and had a big conversation about inclusive vs exclusive comparison. Jump to last night. After dinner, she asks for dessert and tell her she can have a cookie or cake. She gets a devilish grin on her face, disappears, then reappears with both. My wife instantly asks her what she was thinking since I clearly said she could have one or the other. She then proceeds to teach my wife all about inclusive vs exclusive OR, including sketching the truth table, proving that her choice in dessert did not violate my conditions. [link] [comments] | ||
