    Updates and Logo/Banner Competition

    Posted: 14 Oct 2018 12:13 PM PDT

    Hello world!\n

We decided that it is time for a change. Therefore we have been working on the looks of sub, for redesign and mobile. You can see progress at r/ProgrammerHumorCSS , feedback is appreciated. We have also worked on establishing better rules, and getting more mods - more updates on that soon.

Furthermore we are hosting a competition for new logo and banner to jumpstart OC content on the subreddit. Teams are accepted if you are into that. Logo and banner do not have to match, but would be appreciated. They should be posted and marked with a "competition" flair, otherwise will not be accepted.

We have made these filters to make browsing easier:

Please take your time, and upvote posts that you think are best. Only upvotes will be counted, without downvotes.

Rules (Breaking any of the following will result in disqualification):

    • Logo and banner must follow subreddits rules
      • Must be related to programming (not analogy)
      • Must be creative
      • Must not be low quality or low effort
    • Must be SFW
    • This is not r/softwaregore (ie just random colors, put together in ms paint also break rules as does anything UI related)

The competition ends in a month (November 15th, 2018), and the winners will be rewarded as soon as reddit platinum is released(in case that it is released after the ending).

    Prize:

    • 1st place - 12 platinum rewards
    • 2nd place - 3 platinum rewards
    • 3rd place - 1 platinum rewards
    • This might change in case that reddit changes how current system works

Reddit platinum will get you: Reddit Premium for a month, which includes 700 Coins for that month and shows a Platinum Award on the post or comment. more info on coins

Thank you for participating and voting, have a good time.
