Solving huge systems of equations Posted: 16 Jun 2018 09:10 AM PDT Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone here has successfully solved a large system of equations in matrix form (Ax=b). I have looked into ScaLAPACK, but cannot understand the logic behind how the matrix is mapped to the processors. If anyone can point out tips/tricks/softwares/examples that have worked for them, I would greatly appreciate it. edit: Thanks for the replies so far. I am working with dense matrices specifically, so sparse solvers will not work. [link] [comments] |

Anyone implemented Garbled Circuits? Posted: 16 Jun 2018 11:06 PM PDT I'm trying to implement a paper in Python. The main feature is implementing Yao's Garbled Circuit between two parties via OT, and solve some matrix using the GC. But I can't get my head around how this is worked out on an implementation level. If someone could shed a bit light on this would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |

Is it good to self-taught in all harvard computer science (CS50) videos? Posted: 16 Jun 2018 12:05 PM PDT It's like a college where i follow a certain curriculum but it is self-taught using the videos freely shared by harvard themselves. Rather than other tutorial videos which is too simplified. [link] [comments] |
