So this happened in my interview... Posted: 09 Dec 2017 11:13 AM PST It was my first interview for a computer science related job and I was super nervous, i did not even get to go over basics because of finals week. So after a few minutes of explaining convolutional neural networks, he asks me what is binary sort then he asks me merge sort. I explained both of them properly, then the guy asks me lets say you have an unordered array of integers how would you find the minimum number from the array. I reply, I would sort the array and take the first number. The dude moves on to the next question, after the call I am going over the questions in my head and I realize my fuck up. I swear if he didn't ask me the sorting questions before asking me that question I would have got the linear search aspect. I am pretty ashamed now [link] [comments] | ||
