Functional Programming: Industry use cases? Posted: 26 May 2018 11:54 PM PDT Functional Programming has seen some rise in popularity in the recent times. Most of the use cases that I've come across, seem fairly academic. Particularly useful when you're working with compilers, though. What do you guys think are some industry use cases for FP. What areas do you see where FP fits better, when compared to OOP? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 May 2018 02:27 AM PDT So, sometime ago I was explaining to a friend some different methods of complicating the standard Caeser Cipher. After some work making the cipher more complex in different levels I arrived at this, which I was unable to think of a way to break or even brute force. I send this out hoping to get some better responses on the matter. I've written a full PDF explaining the cipher and provides a link with the script and the code itself. The PDF can be viewed Here [link] [comments] |
