An update on u/Qualityvote and introducing u/RepostSleuthBot Posted: 25 Feb 2022 04:56 AM PST Hey hey, it's finally Friday and the weekend is right around the corner. We have a few updates to share with everyone, so please stay a while and listen. Regarding u/QualityVoteIn the previous mod post, we mentioned we were experimenting with u/QualityVote for some light community driven moderation. While the bot didn't remove as much posts as we'd hoped, it did provide us with insight on how the community appreciates certain types of content, so we're going to have it stick around for a while longer. One major thing it didn't help (as much) for as we'd hoped was reposts, so we're introducing a new bot to help with that: Introducing u/RepostSleuthBotYou might've seen this bot around in the comments here or on other subreddits, but starting now we've given u/RepostSleuthBot the ability to automatically remove detected reposts. We understand no bot is 100% perfect, so we still ask you to report any reposts that slipped by the bot, and alert us to any false positives. Questions? Thoughts? Feedback? Please leave it in the comments below or shoot us a message, we'd love to hear your thoughts! [link] [comments] | ||
