What have you been working on recently? [December 25, 2021]

What have you been working on recently? Feel free to share updates on projects you're working on, brag about any major milestones you've hit, grouse about a challenge you've ran into recently... Any sort of "progress report" is fair game!

    A few requests:

    1. If possible, include a link to your source code when sharing a project update. That way, others can learn from your work!

    2. If you've shared something, try commenting on at least one other update -- ask a question, give feedback, compliment something cool... We encourage discussion!

    3. If you don't consider yourself to be a beginner, include about how many years of experience you have.

This thread will remained stickied over the weekend. Link to past threads here.

Do programmers at manipulate electron flow in circuits?

    Posted: 24 Dec 2021 11:08 PM PST

I'm new to programming and wondering what programming does on the most fundamental level. How is something so complex as modern computers able to be controlled in a way we want to? Like you got billions of transistors and I think same amount in ways computer can function, how is this all controlled to our liking?

Edit title: do programmers at funademtnal level manipulate electron nflow in circuits

I'm a 3rd year cs student. I'm proficient in c++ so I'm looking for resources in which c/c++ skills are assumed. Any good resources out there?

    Thanks!

Can someone please share the road map to become a Game Developer.

As far as I know: 1. Learn C++ 2. Learn a Game Engine (Unity)

If someone is already into it. Could you please elaborate it a bit more. I know programming Fundamentals. Currently Learning React. But I also want to learn Game Development slowly.

    Thank You

I struggle to write code on my own i feel i am making no progress

    Posted: 24 Dec 2021 04:22 PM PST

2 months i have learned the syntax, did some tutorials, read some books but when it comes to coding on my own i just dont know i cant make sense how this works? How combine different libraries and use them?I feel so frustrated i google stuff look stackoverflow but still the solution isnt the one that i wanted,i decided to learn pygame and 2 days now i try look the docs, check some videos to see how do i do it but still i am on square 1 still created a window and a shape i cant implement what i wanted.I feel really shitty i dont know what do i do wrong i read carefully try play with code but still, does it get easier by the time cause right now,i feel so dissappointed with my self,no projects or small apps and took me 2 months to decide to make a project.
