What do you need to learn in order to study comp.sci ? Posted: 01 May 2021 03:21 AM PDT Hi! I'm 20y/o and I'm currently studying Business and I'm not happy with it tbh but I'm already in my second year so I will finish it and then start learning computer science. I know a little bit of Python and some HTML. I know high school mathematics(mainly algebra but I remember some calculus) but I heard you need to learn discrete maths and some advanced calculus and physics and this was the reason I chose not to do it because I thought I was too dumb. Every article I've read is very conflicting so I need your advice please! [link] [comments] |
Kalman Filter - Which metric to use Posted: 30 Apr 2021 02:34 PM PDT Hello! I implemented an EKF on Victoria Park Dataset (Odometry + GPS + Lidar) I read an article that said that GPS coordinates can be considered as ground truth. Is it logical to calculate the euclidean distance between my estimates with the 3 sensors and the gps coordinates? It seems wierd to do so but I didn't find an article that could explain to me how to test my algorithm. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
