Posted: 01 Jan 2021 09:45 PM PST Hello everyone! I'm a legally blind woman learning how to code, currently working my way through college towards an computer science degree. For a while now, I have been considering starting a blog to share the code I've written and maybe some of my experiences as a disabled female in this field. Would anyone be interested in reading/following something like that? I am trying to see if there would be interest in me starting a blog like this as well as advice on where to post and what content to post as I have never tried blogging before Thank you! :) Ps: Please feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about my vision, what it's like being blind in a visual world, how I do things (whether in tech or not), accessibility or anything like that. I'm super open about my disability and how it affects my day to day life. I'm always excited when I get the opportunity to educate others about it :) [link] [comments] |

Posted: 02 Jan 2021 01:43 AM PST Hi guys im doing linear algebra as part of my computer science modules and we've been given a project which needs me too... *Choose Any problem from your field of study (SMA, SORS, SPH, SCS, INFORMATICS) and solve It by using skills and techniques that you would have leant. USAGE OF A MATHEMATICA (MATHEMATICAL PACKAGE) IS COMPULSORY* So far we've only covered vectors but i aint got any idea where to start please help Edit: please share any other applications from other topics in linear algebra if you know [link] [comments] |

When will I fall in love with CS Posted: 01 Jan 2021 06:07 PM PST I will be heading to college this upcoming fall and I'm wondering if anyone fell in love with CS until their sophomore, junior, or senior year. I have taken a few CS courses at my high school and it was definitely hard and at most times I wouldn't understand it. Luckily, I have friends that help me but it's still hard. Will I get to a point where I'll understand the code I'm writing or the algorithm in learning about? Will a switch turn on a year or two into my degree where I'll become enamored with computer science? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 01 Jan 2021 07:25 AM PST P.S. To be more specific, I mean is the IMPLEMENTATION of TeXmacs worthy of study from a CS education and/or research point of view? [link] [comments] |
