Does quantifying risks solve any problems?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 02:24 PM PDT

I'm learning about something called risk quantification, where the idea is to put numbers to risks, instead of labels such as "Low", "Medium", "High".

Look up "FAIR" or see this link for an intro:

This sounds cool, but do you think it'll solve any real problems for your org? And if so, which ones?

Asking so I know if this is worth looking into more or if it's just a fad.
