Posted: 29 Mar 2020 08:12 PM PDT Can anyone recommend some interesting learning material about computer network? I'm taking a UG level CN course which I find so dry and boring. Is there any resources which can make the learning process more fun and enjoyable? Thank you redditor! [link] [comments] |

Resources on Automata theory, languages and computation. Posted: 29 Mar 2020 10:50 AM PDT Please provide me resources (simple and readable)regarding automata theory.I tried studying the textbook but can't really wrap my head around it. [link] [comments] |
z3 SAT constraints help wanted Posted: 29 Mar 2020 12:54 PM PDT So I'm starting to look into SAT solvers for some of my work. I wanted to know if there was a better way to setup constraints. I'm trying to figure out a better way to set up Clause #3 in the problem below: Python notebook - https://github.com/rkrishnasanka/z3-puzzles/blob/master/puzzle1.ipynb [link] [comments] |
Implementation of Harvey/Van der Hoeven Multiplication algorithm? Posted: 29 Mar 2020 02:46 PM PDT Is there an implementation (preferably C++/Fortran) of the Log n algorithm described here? Are there any good explainers on it? I can find stuff on Schonhage-Strassen and Toom-cook fairly easily but it doesn't seem like Furer's or H-H's algorithm have any implementation. Note: I'm not really super familiar with mathematics, so the dumber the better. [link] [comments] |

Thesis topic: FSA and Graphics Posted: 29 Mar 2020 02:56 PM PDT Hello, I am an undergrad in CS, and so far my two favorite classes have been 1) Computer Graphics and 2) Discrete Structures. The two classes I'm looking forward to are 1) Computer Graphics II and 2) Finite State Automata. In thinking about grad school, I was wondering, are there are any areas of research that require study of both Computer Graphics and Theory of Computation (FSA's)? [link] [comments] |
