Creating a code testing environment Posted: 09 Oct 2019 10:53 AM PDT I've been interested in learning about DDOS attacks, both the implementation and the defense of such. Setting aside the difficulty of learning how to actually implement either one, I know that I need some sort of private "lab" environment so I can run code to kill fake computers. Ideally, be able to set up a mean to attempt to kill a computer and then successfully prevent it or stop it. Does anyone have a recommendation on how I might be able to set up a safe environment? I'm brand new to this corner of programming, so ideally I'd like free options before I commit too much. [link] [comments] |
