Large/multi project organization (requirements, analysis, emails, timelines) Posted: 22 Aug 2018 04:49 AM PDT My question is how do those who work on many projects with strict timelines that could change at any time to work with vendors keep on top of their projects? I'm seeking advice for managing requirements, analysis, design, timelines, partner statuses- a whole slew of components to make the project successful. Things like requirements and analysis have their own timelines/statuses. As a developer, what is the best way to keep track so I don't fall behind? Monthly deployment files/folders and a time line spreadsheet? Pen and paper for each project? Something I'm missing? Thank you! [link] [comments] |
Character recognition and stroke direction? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 08:20 AM PDT Is there some technique to detect how well the strokes are being drawn in comparison with a preset pattern corresponding to a character. So for instance if the small cap letter "L" is drawn from right to left instead of how it's normally done, it shouldn't be detected as an "l". The thing is that for some characters, it's important to draw them in with the strokes in the right order and direction. like Chinese or Japanese characters. [link] [comments] |
Performance and load test for application server Posted: 21 Aug 2018 07:09 AM PDT Hi, on the internet I find only references to the web server but no reference to the application server. What are the techniques for analyzing the performance and load of an application server? [link] [comments] |
Do you have to know coding before uni? Posted: 21 Aug 2018 04:28 AM PDT Hey guys, So I will be starting a comp sci course next year, but I have 0 experience in coding (apart from slight tinkering with html and vb6 in year 10). Do they assume you know a language? Will life be a lot harder for me having not learnt one? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
