Posted: 28 Jul 2018 08:16 PM PDT Hello, I know that C++ is a pun on C saying it is one increment better, Yaml is yet another markup language, and GNU is GUY's not Unix. Do you guys know anything other name puns or just puns in general for computer science? [link] [comments] |
Algorithm to fill set with minimum number of given subsets? Posted: 28 Jul 2018 04:21 PM PDT Ex: A=[1,2] B=[2,3] C=[3,4] I want this algorithm to return A and C because together they cover the entire range 1-4, and there's no way to do it with only one of A,B,C I feel like this must be a well-studied problem but my google searches return nothing.
