Posted: 29 Jun 2018 09:14 AM PDT I have a small library at this point of CS related books that I have accumulated. I hang on to them as an occasional reference / brush up reading, but I feel like they would be better used by others. At the same time I find a CS related book at least every month that I want to read. Fortunately I am able to use my universities library to access a lot of these books for free (saving me a lot of money!), but they are mostly eBooks which I really dislike (my crappy eyes stare at that damn screen enough as it is). Is there an existing business that facilitates exchanging textbooks? If not, how is this not a thing? I would be willing to pay a decent subscription + donate books to such a service, I am sure many students would in fact. [link] [comments] |
