Is writing an emulator of a Pentium I a feasible project? Posted: 14 Apr 2018 04:28 PM PDT I want to write an emulator of a Pentium I processor that can play games from my childhood. (I know there are far easier ways to get old games working but I want to do it for fun). I have programming skills and basic knowledge of computer architecture, but otherwise no experience doing something like this. Is writing an emulator of a Pentium I within the scope of a single amateur? Is it possible for me to complete it within, say, a year (including time spent learning) or is it far too complex a project? [link] [comments] |
