| How important is it to take an intro to OS class when pursuing a career in Software Engineering? Posted: 22 Jan 2020 10:46 AM PST I'm in my final semester of my degree and have an SWE job lined up. I don't need to take an OS class to graduate, as I have taken other things, but feel like it might be important knowledge to have in the workplace. It would make my schedule more challenging as I could take an easier class in its place. What are your thoughts? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 23 Jan 2020 01:12 AM PST I observed that when I navigate from YouTube app to let's say Twitter or something similar, the audio takes extra few seconds to stop. My guess is that the audio thread is not stopped while I switch from the source app and only is interrupted after I switch to the other app. But is it true though? Could it be just that the latency in audio stopping is due to something else? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 22 Jan 2020 06:51 PM PST I'm using a music video that use YouTube music video to play(which mean if they violated something, my YouTube video music is gone).I'm concerned about the copyright, terminated user so I'm wondering what are some possibly way to keep it permanently on your computer, and able to play even after the owner of the video deleted it, or have been terminated.
