[Help] Visualizing Graph Proof Computer Science

Hello, I have been trying to conceptualize this proof and do not yet fully understand it. I tried to draw a couple example graphs with n = 4, 6, etc. but to no avail. Can somebody assist me in drawing an example graph with an arbitrary even n so I can actually see the solo node. Thank you

Phd in CS/EE admission chances

I've heard that Harvard CS is not considered the top program, but does anyone know what gpa is ug/grad (MS) is good enough to gain admission there?

Does 15 year distance from MS education and decades long experience as SW engineer at well known SV tech companies overcome low gpa?

Looking at Harvard CS program due to interdisciplinary research opportunities (tech and law) and resources there.
