Where can I learn good programming conventions and write more "clean" code? Posted: 22 Apr 2018 08:33 PM PDT I didn't major in CS in college, but I took courses in AI and Machine Learning. I learned data structure and algorithms on my own since there are tons of resources on those, but I still feel my code is not as "clean" as I'd like. What can I do? thanks [link] [comments] |

Quick tools to create precision-recall curves? Posted: 22 Apr 2018 05:12 AM PDT I have a set of 11-point interpolated averages for a collection of queries that I wish to plot on a precision-recall graph, what tools would be good for this. I'm aware that there a number of Python-based libraries like matplotlib, are there any quicker alternatives that I can just feed a set collection to? [link] [comments] |
What is algorithmic randomness? Posted: 22 Apr 2018 03:59 PM PDT What is it saying? How do they test it? What do computer scientists attribute the randomness they observe to exactly? [link] [comments] |

I've been neglecting Human Computer Interaction course, any tips? Posted: 22 Apr 2018 08:53 AM PDT I've been neglecting it because I find it to be a boring course yet it's something I need to take to fulfill my credit (I'm an exchange student). I did well for the assignments (designing lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes), but have no clue on how to write or answer question papers based on HCI based theories. People who have took this course before, any study tips? [link] [comments] |
