First instance of this good helpful computer design feature in history ?

In options / settings when you hover over something it tells you what it does either with a gif or with words

It'll show you this via a popup or text that shows somewhere else on the screen

Seems like it'd be a pretty hard thing to find out what's First instance of this good helpful Ux design feature ?

I don't even know how to begin finding this out

In computing history, what's the First instance you know of this good helpful Ux design feature ?

Other ppl that make this good helpful Ux design feature, I guess they either used good sofwtare tools

Or they saw it in some good sofwtare tools, but it wasnt the first instance

    Helpful links are helpful

I dont think there's any really good computer ui/ux history encyclopedia someone in society has made yet

Google AI's new Performer model explained: a less computing-intensive attention framework based on the Transformer architecture

    Posted: 27 Oct 2020 06:48 PM PDT

Compared to Transformer's quadratic memory requirements, the new Performer model implements random positive orthogonal features and provides linearly scalable, low-variance, and unbiased estimation of attention mechanisms. Here is a great video that explains the model in detail based on Google's paper Rethinking Attention with Performers.
